XVI Festival de Comunidades Extranjeras
The Festival de Comunidades Extranjeras, the largest event of its kind in Mexico with 60,000 attendees, took place from 29th February to 3rd March in Centro de Congresos Querétaro.
In attendance was Anthony Cawley, Agricultural Attaché of the Irish Embassy in Mexico, and Tom Stack, President of the IMC chapter Queretaro, to formally open both award-winning Ireland stands and subsequent festival inauguration with Luis Nava, Presidente Municipal de Querétaro.
Ireland had a strong presence with gastronomy and handicrafts.
