Ministerial Visit from Minister of State, Robert Troy, T.D., of the Department of Enterprise, Trade and Employment of Ireland with responsibility for Trade Promotion, Digital and Company Regulation

Minister of State Robert Troy T.D. of the Department of Enterprise, Trade and Employment of Ireland with responsibility for Trade Promotion, Digital and Company Regulation visited Mexico on 18-20 May accompanied by a trade delegation as part of a wider visit to North America. Minister Troy’s visit aims to promote Irish technology and innovation and support Irish companies looking for opportunities in the U.S and Mexico.

Before ending his trade mission to the Southern US and Mexico, Minister Robert Troy T.D., attended a Fintech roundtable with enterprise Ireland client, Fenergo, as well as authntication company Daon inc. and funding solutions company Swoop, among other entrepreneurs in the fintech sector.

At the end of the visit, Minister Troy attended a lunch hosted at the Residence of H.E. Ambassador Maeve von Heynitz organized by our member Enterprise Ireland and the Irish Embassy in Mexico, where they invited the Irish Mexican Chamber members as well as representatives of the Fintech community, Irish and Mexican where they exchanged ideas and opportunities at the lunch.
